Auction Update: $4500 raised for the Atlanta Community Food Bank!

We were speechless Saturday night when Mac texted us the final results of our Instagram art auction: thanks to all of you out there who bid and bought; and to our wonderful, giving artists who participated.  The auction raised a whopping $4,500 for the Atlanta Community Food Bank!  Our stunned silence quickly progressed to exuberant "whooo-hoooo's!" from all of us.

Plus, it was so much fun! Mac was in charge and managed it beautifully, from loading and posting images of the paintings to monitoring the bids as they came in.  Each and every painting is going to a happy home and their new owners should feel proud about their generous contribution to the ACFB.  We are so proud of everyone who joined in.

If you missed out on the fun, not to worry. Stay tuned as we set the dates for the next round of paintings.

In the meantime, here are a couple of stats:

Susan Kinsella's "Certain Peace" went for $625 over the opening bid!

Carylon Killebrew's "Let it Happen" went for $1,250 over the starting bid.

Allison Chambers' "Mystery II" went for $300 more than the opening bid.

Thanks again, to everyone, who took the time and funds to help out the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts and we are grateful for all of you.

Ta ta.
