2019: It's A Wrap

2019: It's A Wrap

2019 was such a fun year for Huff Harrington – Countless trips to France, 15 design installs across two continents, 8 containers full of fabulous French goodies, 7 group trips to France, 6 shows in three different states (two at the same time!) and 1 Showhouse…

We started the year off buying in France at the ever so chic Maison et Objet show in Paris, in search of inspo for the year … and we found it! Then we guided a few fabulous ladies around Paris to our best secret spots in search of perfect pieces for them to ship home. Mission accomplished!

In March, we saddled up and grabbed our favorite pair of cowboy boots and hit the road to Roundtop, Texas for the first time. What a blast that was!  Let me tell you, there is nothing chicer than those shopping at Round Top. We’ve never been more inspired to don a crisp white button down with the best jeans and cowboy boots – oh, and you can’t forget the perfectly draped Hermes silk scarf! (And yes, they love our French antiques and one-of-a-kinds!)

Upon our return we launched Huff Harrington Design – After quietly designing for our lovely clients for years, we decided it was time to make it official. We put together a wonderful team of talent, including Trudy Stump, Heather Parker, Wren Caples, and Debbie Callaway who bring decades of design expertise and talent to the table. So we quickly put all of their combined talent to use and debuted our first official space at the Southeastern Spring Showhouse.

What an install that was! We learned lots, laughed even more and finally stepped back to admire the beautiful master veranda and vestibule that we brought to life. An extension of indoor living brought outside to enjoy the home’s lush landscape.

Over the summer we wrapped a fabulous project in the seventh district in Paris…This natural light drenched beauty was a labor of love for all involved considering we moved the kitchen and added a bathroom. We can’t wait to share the entirety of this project in a few short weeks. Stay tuned, until then….

In the fall, our bags mostly stayed packed as we headed to France for our favorite buying trip of the year then upon our return we headed back to Round Top, Texas and then on to High Point Market. Yes, the airlines were loving us as we traveled cross-country!

Back in Atlanta, we celebrated a few of our favorite guys at Manifest – a wonderful show at the gallery that featured new works from Seitz, Mooney, Robertson and Ross.  Then we kicked off the holiday season the best way we know how, with Partner’s Card!

Not to be outdone by the guys, Lorraine Christie produced a brand-new body of work that was introduced during her beautiful and inspirational solo show at Huff Harrington Fine Art in November.  What a show! We begged for 10 paintings and got 20, all sublime, most of which are now hanging happily in collectors’ homes.

And we could not be more excited to wrap the year with the arrival of a fabulous new container (yes, we know we say this every time but this one might really be our favorite yet)! These handsome and pretty pieces have already started to make their way upstairs so be sure to make plans to visit us after you’ve wrapped your holiday travels.

Speaking of…Ann is off to France (for the X'th time this year!) and a few Huff’ingtons are off to ring in the new year from afar.  Wherever you spend the holidays, we hope it brings you joy and happiness!

We thank you for your patronage and friendship during this past year, and can’t wait for the big plans in 2020 …

Ta ta for now!

I am amazed at the professionalism and the thought that goes into all of your posts. Interesting, as well as visually appealing. As an artist, how wonderful it is to be represented by you.
