Hooray for the Huffingtons!

20 Years of All the Things We Love! Reading Hooray for the Huffingtons! 4 minutes

In the 20 years that Huff Harrington has been around, one wonderful thing has remained a constant for us: the dedicated, energetic, kind and loyal people that we have been so lucky to have in our lives.

From Linda Mohan, our very first employee in 2006 to Jordan Barrett who joined us in 2026, our little family of Huffingtons (past and present) has weathered life together.

We've celebrated engagements, marriages, babies and so many happy milestones together. We've stood strong by each other when the going got tough and life presented challenges.  We know each other's families, favorite books and TV shows and who likes sweet and who likes salty.

Reminiscing with Linda about her early days at Huff Harrington Fine Art. We always joke that we hired her because she was wearing a gorgeous patent leather trench coat that she showed off at our recent 20th anniversary dinner.

This incredible family of people supported us unconditionally as our business grew from a little art gallery on a Buckhead side street to a home furnishings store then interior design services and even a design studio in Paris.  We've never been met with anything less than the most enthusiastic yes and a sea of raised hands - whatever the challenge.

The Huffingtons aren't afraid of hard work - and their energy knows no bounds. They have packed and unpacked thousands of paintings. They have hung gallery walls, collaborated with our artists and thrown fabulous gallery artists' openings.

They have unloaded containers, polished antiques, hung mirrors, stacked throws, turned on and turned off countless table and floor lamps and plumped pillows. They have spent hours talking to vendors, placing orders, pulling pallets apart and tagging merchandise. They have walked miles and miles at various markets around the country (and even in France, no matter the weather conditions).  They have created sensational mood boards, wrangled dozens of subs and vendors and installed jaw-droppingly beautiful spaces.

And whether they're here in Atlanta or work with Ann in Paris, they are the kindest, most gracious and helpful people we've ever, ever come across.

We're delighted to give our dear Huffingtons a special shoutout:  Linda Mohan, Mac Middleton and Devan Sweeney run the show at Huff Harrington Fine Art, with help from Mimi McCall and Sam Jones.

Jill McKenzie, Alva Harper, Allison Wagasky, Darlene Whitmire, Cindy Harper and Rhys Fish are "downstairs" at Huff Harrington Home, running the floor, merchandising and helping our wonderful clients.

Debbie Callaway, whose design know-how keeps our space at Foxgloves looking chic and curated.

Up on the third floor is our head of design and Huff Harrington merchandiser, Trudy Stump, and interior designer Jordan Barrett, who dream up the most beautiful schemes for clients of Huff Harrington Design.

And Alex Huff, who handles bookkeeping for all of our companies - which is no easy task!

Finally, our Huffington hero: Marlon Copeland, who keeps us all sane every minute of the day and runs our logistics with a cool and calm head.  We literally couldn't do anything without him!

Meg and Marlon.

And, across the pond, we're whoo-hooing our Paris team of Julie Cade, Caroline Gichuki and Anne Henderson in Paris and Chiara and Enrico, in Venice.

And our dynamic design duo in Italy, Chiara and Enrico!

We recently celebrated with 20-year milestone, where the newest little Huffington captured all of our hearts and attention. Easy to see why, right?

The newest member of the Huffington family: Romy!

So, as we hit our twentieth year in business, there's a lot of celebrating to do: we're celebrating these special friendships that are just as strong off duty as they are at work. We're celebrating all the things we've accomplished together as a team.  We're celebrating like crazy -  and we're raising a glass to the people who really made it all happen: the Huffingtons.

With thanks and gratitude, cheers to 20 years!

Ann and Meg
