About seventeen years ago, before we opened Huff Harrington Fine Art and way before Huff Harrington Home was even a germ of an idea, we had a gallery at Foxglove Antiques on Miami Circle. We loved the welcoming environment at Foxglove and were so impressed with their professionalism, their attention to customer service, their fine selection of dealers and their outstanding leadership – that it was a great fit. We had a great relationship with all of their employees and their fearless leader, Sheila, and we kept it going successfully for several years. And then, as our own Gallery took off and needed more attention, we realized we couldn’t manage both businesses to their best advantage and so we parted as friends with Foxglove and wished each other luck.
Foxglove Antiques and Galleries on Miami Circle
Fast forward many years and we started to have the itch again … to be back on Miami Circle (an area that draws a lot of out-of-town shoppers), to be in the company of some other fine art and antiques galleries and to be under the nice care of Sheila Benson and her crew, once again.
The shiest Foxglove employee is Maggie May! - can you get her to smile?
In the intervening years, not only have we opened Huff Harrington Home but we’ve also built a business doing shows in other venues, such as High Point, North Carolina and Round Top, Texas. How do we manage? Easy peasy with a secret weapon named Debbie Callaway, who is a wizard at designing and merchandising everything she touches, and Marlon, our inventory manager, who is probably our most popular and sought-after employee. We couldn’t imagine adding Foxglove Galleries to our roster without Debbie and Marlon – but with their help, it’s a no brainer!
Debbie - the pretty one on the right with the glasses!

And so we’re back, and excited to be there again. Foxglove galleries is over 12,000 square feet of prime retail space on Miami Circle and features a carefully curated selection of dealers who come from all over. When Sheila showed us our space, we jumped right on it, not only because of its prime location but for the wall space that enables us to showcase much of our art. At Foxglove, we’ll have a wide exposure to a vast client base from all over the country who come specifically to Atlanta for its design center (ADAC, just down the street) and the galleries on Miami Circle. And with Foxglove, between our Debbie and their great team of salespeople, the work is done! In fact, they take care of everything from marketing to delivery, to shipping for clients all over the country.
Our Huff Harrington gallery at Foxglove on Miami Circle
We have a vast selection of art and one-of-a-kinds picked up from our travels
Debbie has spun her magic: Just blink twice, and the whole place will be changed!
We have a great show case for several large paintings, including this painting from Melissa Payne Baker.
Green jarres from the Perigord region of France and wine tasting tables always top our lists of finds from France
A nice little vignette of French jarres and a painting by Laura Shubert
Willy Guhl "mouchoir" planters are more of our favorite crunchy "objets."
A new painting by our artist, Zae, is a great foil for this pretty antique buffet.
If you're interested in the above Louis XVI commode ...
Foxglove will send you a tear sheet with all the information.
So we’re excited to join forces with our friends at Foxglove again and we invite you to drop by and see our gallery, along with the other beautiful ones in their venue. And if you’re looking for a good time to do this, join Foxglove for a true holiday celebration: A Party with a Purpose to support Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center on December 11th, from 5 to 8 p.m. We’re all invited to join in by donating an unwrapped gift for a boy or a girl or a matching monetary donation that will support this center which provides a safe and nurturing environment for abused and neglected children and teenagers to thrive and heal. Hearing Sheila talk about this center is powerful – and we are grateful to know such a place exists.
We hope you'll visit Foxglove Galleries in the near future. Or come party with a purpose on December 11th at Foxglove Galleries, 699 Miami Circle, from 5 to 8 p.m. Maggie May will be there to greet you - and if you're lucky, maybe you can get her to smile.
Ta ta,
HH
