Millie Gosch
Millie Gosch has been painting all her life. She is a native Georgian, raised in a classic Southern town just south of Atlanta. As a child, she always participated in some type of art class or program. Later, Millie studied oil painting at Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She later moved back to Georgia where she began a successful decorative arts business painting ceramic tile murals, furniture and floor cloths. After 15 years, Millie has returned to oil painting and her creativity has found a new outlet in her pursuit of fine art.
Many of Millie’s oils reflect her love of the outdoors. “For me, art is an expression in unconscious thought of my love of nature,” she says. “I love the landscape: simple and serene. The lowlands and rural fields allow a perfect setting for me to explore my connection with earth.”
Her paintings bring the viewer to a special place: that moment in time that allows for quiet reflection.
Millie has studied with many notable artists, including Terry Ludwig, Ray Roberts, Roger Dale Brown and Marc Chatov. She shows actively in local and regional exhibits and has received many accolades for her work.
Millie Gosch has produced some giclees (canvas prints) of her work that she has sold separately from Huff Harrington. We do not sell giclees at Huff Harrington and we do not carry the original work that has been turned into a giclee.
