Lily Harrington

in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up surrounded by art (her grandmother, mother, aunt, and cousin are all artists). In 2011, her mother, Meg Harrington, opened Huff Harrington Fine Art, a serene and inviting gallery nestled in a quiet Atlanta neighborhood. From a young age, Lily was inspired by the beauty of the gallery, the talent of the artists and the beauty and integrity of the works hanging throughout the quaint little cottage.  

Her artistic journey began when she was a sophomore in high school. An Atlanta designer (and friend) suggested Lily paint a piece for an installation she was doing. Lily created the piece, the client loved it - and so it began. Lily’s now in her sixth year as a practicing artist. She recently graduated from the University of Georgia where she studied English and Cognitive Science - and painted throughout her college career. She is lucky to be able to continue to develop her artistic voice and experiment with new techniques with the help of endless love and support from friends and family. Her work has appeared in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles and Better Homes and Gardens.

Artist Statement: 

I work, diligently and with integrity, to bring truth and beauty to the canvas. I use an array of different palettes and mediums and with these tools, I hope to bring life the everyday splendor of the world around us.
