Wood Undulant Table Lamp

The undulant shape of this table lamp is achieved when wood is rotated on a machine to carve its outline. This requires great skill because it has to be manipulated at 90-degree angles to create both the smoothness of the surface and the knottiness of the shape. The tan lamp sits atop a metal base in a brass finish and is topped with an off-white shantung shade.
