Devan Sweeney

At an early age, Devan discovered her two passions: swimming and painting.

She was thrown into a swimming pool before she could walk, and she was holding a paintbrush shortly after that. Devan grew up in a big family with six siblings who all swam competitively at the highest level, and her childhood home was decorated with her grandmother’s paintings. Her superhero parents supported and encouraged her to pursue both passions. Devan’s swimming career eventually led her to Auburn University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in Painting. 

Whether it’s playing golf and tennis or lying by the pool, Devan finds inspiration when spending time with her family and friends. She snaps a photo to cherish the moment and paints it later. Each painting captures light through vibrant shapes of color and invites you in to share a memory.

Devan currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and works at Huff Harrington Fine Art as the Gallery Assistant.
