We discovered Carol's mesmerizing work in Paris - and it took us about one second to decide we had to have her work here at Huff Harrington.  Her stunning, lush and succulent still life photography looks like it was plucked from the 15th century and is oozing with richness, mystery and intrigue.

Born into a family of gallery owners and antique dealers who passed on a love for classical art, Carol studied psychology and then became an assistant for culinary photographer, Jean-Francois Hamon.

In 1998, Carol founded her own graphic design studio specializing in gourmet cuisine and kitchen photography for shelter magazines and publications.

In 2008, she settled in the hills of Perche, near Normandy where she created a photographic body of work focusing on forest, flora and fauna. A meeting with an antiques dealer, Sylvain Cheriau inspired Carol to begin a new series of work inspired by Spanish, Flemish and Dutch old master painters' still lifes.

These striking and unforgettable pieces are remarkable for their sophisticated compositions, precise shafts of light and shadow - and a presentation of objects that is literally mouth-watering.

Each photograph is numbered and signed. They are printed on ultra matte 100% cotton paper and laminated onto aluminum composite panels.  They are framed with a very thin, matte black aluminum frame.
