We're so delighted to welcome Erin Donahue Tice to our gallery family. This exuberant Austin-based, self-taught painter loves to push her boundaries on the easel, incorporating unexpected elements into her abstracted work.
Erin's medium of choice is acrylics but she also experiments with mixed media, playing with everything from cardboard, paper and foam and mixing them with the acrylics, gouache, oil pastels and charcoal that bring her work to life.
She has always had admiration for the way a painting can give life and interest to a space and loves the quiet nature of painting. She mostly relies on her imagination and the thoughts in her head to lead the brush where it needs to go. And she pulls on daily inspiration, from a friend's fabulous dress to design blogs or travel memories.
