Hi again from Ann and Meg: hope you're enjoying glorious spring weather wherever you are.
We're delighted to share our giant news with you. Cue the drum roll: we've made it official - Huff Harrington has a new location in Paris!
We're still pinching ourselves that this is reality and yes, those are our names on the building.
So, what are we doing in Paris? Well, let's start by explaining that our space there is primarily headquarters for our international design business. We've been quietly busy for the past couple years doing interior design and project management for clients in Paris, Florence and Rome. The jobs are mostly secondary residences for people who have fallen in love with these cities and want to embrace the lifestyle and culture.
Our spot in Paris is also the perfect space in which we can curate our French finds and create the mix we love so much.
That means crunchy commodes, sleek Maison Jansen coffee tables, glorious Louix XVI mirrors and our current favorite: a pair of 1960s sleek black lacquer armchairs upholstered in Pierre Frey fabric.
We've got art galore - abstracts, landscapes and portraits all adding a little attitude, as well as lighting, coffee table books and a few charming brocante pieces we've picked up along the way.
Where are we in Paris? You'll find us at 14 rue Augereau, within eyeshot of the Eiffel Tower and a short walk to bustling rue Cler. Right now, we're by appointment (drop us a note at paris@huffharrington.com) but we expect to have regular business hours soon.
It's a dream come true for us and truly a "pinch us" moment. And, we're so grateful to you for the encouragement, cheerleading and support. Merci, merci, merci.
