In addition to being featured in lifestyle and trade publications, Foster’s work appeared in 12 museum exhibitions, more than 20 solo gallery shows, and more than 50 gallery group shows. Her work was acquired by influential collectors and celebrities, including Will Smith, Halle Berry, and Faith Hill, and is held in museum, public, and private collections nationally and internationally. Among the many awards, fellowships, and artist residencies she received was the Creative Access Award, funded by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBorn in Providence, Rhode Island, Foster received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing, summa cum laude, from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Parsons School of Design.
