Two French Early 20th Century Painted Wood Louis XVI Style Bergère Chairs

Two French early 20th century Louis XVI-style painted bergère chairs from Southern France. These handsome pieces feature a linear back over partially upholstered and scrolled arms. Four carved rosettes adorn the knees of these French chairs, just above the fluted and slightly tapered legs. We found these oversized, classic bergère seats in the south of France and immediately fell for their ample size and patina. In their original state, you can dress them up or down, depending on your look, and you’ll love how comfy they are, no matter where they sit. We would love to sell them as a pair, but they are priced and sold separately: $1,400 each.

Sold separately.

29" W x 23" D x 36" H.
