Pair of Northern French Louis XVI Style 1940s Dining Chairs with Cane Backs

A pair of French Louis XVI style wooden painted dining room chairs with cane backs and upholstered seats from the 1940s. From a trusted vendor in northern France come these lovely Louis XVI-style cane-backed chairs with fluted legs and rosettes on the knees. Painted in the perfect shade of pale beige with criss-cross highlights on the rounded cane backs, and all covered in a pretty neutral colored muslin, there is nothing we would change on these chairs. Of course, we gave them the comfort test, and they all got the thumbs up!
