Louis XVI Style Southwestern French Late 19th Century Walnut Two-Drawer Commode


A southwestern French Louis XVI style walnut commode from the second half of the 19th century, with two dovetailed drawers, linear brass hardware, cylindrical tapering legs and fluted side posts.

Its elegant and clean lines, classic hardware, two spacious drawers and rich walnut patina speak volumes about the southwestern French provenance of this piece. Placed anywhere in a home, whether a bedroom, living room or foyer, this 1860s-1890s commode will compliment any décor beautifully.

44.5" W x 22" D x 35" H.

Condition: Fairly good condition. Some minor hairline cracks as to be expected from a piece of this age. Some leg caps have more of a patina than the others.
