This beautifully proportioned Louis XVI-style commode is classically perfect. The body is mostly pine with walnut marquetry, and the hardware is original. We love the simplicity of the lines and the decorative flourishes around the fluted legs and under the bottom drawer.
1890s from the Lyon region in France.
40" x 20.5" x 33" H.
