About the artist

We love it when serendipity brings us good artists - and our meeting with Adam Vettraino was just that.  His name came to us from a friend who, as a textile designer, has a pretty keen eye when it comes to art.  An introduction was made and we were hooked.

What caught our eye immediately was Adam's ethereal series of feathers, all rendered in the most exacting and delicate watercolors.  Soft, subdued and beautifully textured, the feathers have a tender appeal that has grabbed just about everyone who sees them.  He shared a funny coincidence with us: a sister nicknamed Feather.

Adam says, "most people are constantly in a whirlwind moving from one place to another with hardly a chance to enjoy the beauty around. My work allows me the change to capture something that can be easily ignored during everyday life.  A found feather found can easily be ignored or blown away, but when looked at closely they are beautiful and unique."

We're delighted to have this young and very promising artist with us.
